Anyone who follows the car market in Kuwait knows that many of the names we see every day on the roads — from the Silverado and Sierra to the Camry and Corolla — are the same ones topping sales in the United States, the world’s biggest market for American cars. In this report we look at the 10 best-selling vehicles in America in 2026 for the first nine months of the year (January–September), based on manufacturer figures compiled by Best-Selling-Cars.com and published on October 3, 2026.

The standout this year is that half the list is pickups, Toyota alone has four models in the top ten, and the Nissan Rogue and Ram posted the biggest growth. For each vehicle we add its approximate price in Kuwait where a published figure exists.

Sales: Best-Selling-Cars.com (October 3, 2026), based on manufacturer data. Approximate prices: DriveArabia (October 2026) for Ford, Chevrolet, Honda and Ram; Toyota’s Kuwait dealer (Al-Sayer) for Camry and Corolla; DriveArabia estimates for RAV4. The Tesla Model Y is not included because sales by model are not published.

1. Ford F-Series – 561,508 units

The Ford F-Series family (including the F-150 and Super Duty models) stays first by a wide margin, despite a 9.5% drop versus the same period of 2025 (620,580 units). In the third quarter alone, Ford sold 203,707 trucks. In Kuwait, the F-150 2026 starts from about KD 15,750 according to DriveArabia.

2. Chevrolet Silverado – 422,713 units

GM’s best-known pickup is second with a slight 2.2% decline, recording 146,639 units in Q3. The Silverado is a favourite in Kuwait and the Gulf for work and desert trips, and the 2026 model starts from about KD 11,230 according to DriveArabia.

3. Honda CR-V – 336,844 units

The best-selling non-pickup on the list, up 9.5% on last year. The CR-V combines a practical size for small families with moderate fuel consumption, especially in hybrid form. DriveArabia says the 2026 model starts from about KD 10,999 in Kuwait.

4. Ram pickup – 325,348 units

The biggest jump on the list at 40% growth (from 262,386 units in 2025); the figure covers all Ram trucks. In Q3, Ram moved up to third with 117,757 units, ahead of the CR-V. The Ram 1500 2026 starts from about KD 13,500 in Kuwait according to DriveArabia.

5. Toyota Camry – 260,684 units

America’s best-selling sedan grew 11.2%, helped by the new generation that comes as a hybrid in the US market. In Kuwait, Camry 2026 prices at Al-Sayer start from about KD 7,100.

6. GMC Sierra – 257,344 units

The Silverado’s more upmarket sibling held roughly steady (-0.3%), with 86,590 units in Q3. The Sierra is very popular in Kuwait, but we could not find a reliable published starting price for the 2026 model, so we recommend checking with the dealer.

7. Toyota RAV4 – 253,664 units

The RAV4 fell 29.2% over nine months — expected during the changeover to the all-new generation — but bounced back strongly in Q3 with 99,709 units, beating the Camry for the quarter. The new generation arrived in Kuwait this year from about KD 8,250.

8. Toyota Tacoma – 214,875 units

America’s best-selling mid-size pickup grew 5.1%. The Tacoma is mainly a North American model; in Kuwait and the Gulf, its sibling the Hilux plays roughly the same role.

9. Nissan Rogue – 201,991 units

The second-highest growth on the list at 24.8% (from 161,824 units). Rogue is the American name for the compact SUV known in other markets as the X-Trail, a direct rival to the CR-V and RAV4.

10. Toyota Corolla – 195,141 units

The Corolla clinched tenth place by just 6 cars ahead of the Honda Civic (195,135 units) — one of the tightest races of the year — with 8.4% growth. Corolla 2026 prices in Kuwait start from KD 5,990 at Al-Sayer.

What do these numbers mean for car buyers in Kuwait?

  • Pickups still rule: five trucks (F-Series, Silverado, Ram, Sierra and Tacoma) together sold 1,781,788 units by our count of the table, which is reflected in parts availability and service know-how for these models in Kuwait.
  • Toyota has four models: Camry, RAV4, Tacoma and Corolla — reinforcing its reputation for reliability and resale value.
  • Practical compacts are winning: the CR-V, Rogue and RAV4 confirm that compact SUVs are the first choice for small families, a trend we also see in Kuwaiti showrooms.
  • These are US numbers, not Gulf ones: the Kuwaiti market ranking is different and led by Japanese brands, so read this list as a guide to global trends rather than a local ranking.
