Chevrolet, together with Al Ghandi Auto, its exclusive distributor in Dubai, has opened the Chevrolet Experiential Centre at City Centre Mirdif. It is the first centre of its kind in the world, bringing the entire ownership journey under one roof, from discovering and configuring models to test drives and completing the purchase, in a new retail concept for cars in the UAE.

The centre, which opened its doors to visitors on 14 October 2026, brings the American brand closer to shoppers at one of Dubai’s leading retail and lifestyle destinations, instead of waiting for customers to come to traditional showrooms.

Covering more than 630 square metres, the centre blends hands-on experience with digital tools. It features large LED walls, big display screens and interactive tools that let visitors compare models, learn about their features and configure their car to their taste before speaking with product specialists.

Four zones for the Chevrolet family

The centre is divided into four main zones, each with its own character:

ZoneWhat it shows
Lifestyle ZoneChevrolet’s SUV line-up
Off-road ZoneModels built for adventures and weekend getaways
NEV ZoneThe electric (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) family
Performance ZoneThe legendary Corvette, with an immersive experience and an interactive driving simulator

The modular design allows the space to be rearranged for new model launches, seasonal campaigns and exclusive events, while a premium lounge, a café corner and Chevrolet-branded merchandise add a touch of hospitality to the experience.

Global design with a local touch

The concept was developed by Chevrolet’s local unified channels team together with General Motors’ global industrial design team, Universal Design Studio and Alec Engineering and Contracting. Crystal Windham, Executive Director of Industrial Design at General Motors, explained that the centre was designed specifically for the needs of the Dubai market while keeping the brand’s identity. It lets visitors touch the materials up close and feel the driving experience through the simulator, and its design draws on the new identity of Chevrolet dealer showrooms.

What the executives said

Farouk Joueid, Chief Marketing Officer at General Motors Africa and Middle East, said the centre brings the whole world of Chevrolet, from SUVs and performance cars to new energy vehicles, into one destination where customers can explore the brand more naturally, describing the move as a major step for Chevrolet in the UAE.

Mark Jenkins, CEO of Al Ghandi Auto, noted that the two companies have grown alongside Dubai for decades and that UAE customers are embracing new ways of shopping, making the centre “the next chapter” in that journey, where customers can explore, experience, configure and buy their car in one place.

The bottom line

The Chevrolet Experiential Centre at City Centre Mirdif is a striking new approach in the Gulf car market, moving the showroom into the heart of a shopping mall and combining digital tools with personal service. The centre is already welcoming visitors, and more details are available on Chevrolet Arabia’s website and social media channels.
